You've seen wool tweed blazers everywhere lately, from houndstooth to shetland tweed- long to short. Jumping on the tweed blazer bandwagon was as natural to me as making a coffee in the morning, I LOVE classic British style and vividly remember my Dad wearing so many of these blazers while growing up. I always attributed them to class, sophistication, and importance. While the style has shifted over the years we now wear tweed blazers as a casual as can be, I am wearing them with jeans after all. Trends are vicariously inept to high markups, which both frustrates and intrigues me at the same time. I want something more if the pice tag is upppp there-silly I KNOW! Any who, I knew without a doubt this style would be all over thrift stores as SO many men have outgrown the classic jacket just in time for us fashion savvy individuals to realize they have made a come back- back onto our radar and out of the closet of many men who don't even realize what they're giving up. THANK YOU to them because.. well this jacket is DIVINE.
While I LOVE buying new things I have found thrifting to be much more worth while lately, Im trying to look in out of the ordinary places at random times to find good stuff because its definitely hit or miss. But because so many trends are coming back around, there is likely to be some version of it at a thrift shop. Plus saving money is a HUGE bonus!
