Comfort in Poland
A few weeks ago my two girlfriends and I hopped on a plane to Poland and travelled three cities in five days. Three girls: one Canadian, one American, and one Swedish took on a country where none of us knew a word of their native language, and really had no idea what to expect. It was a non-stop ride that I will never forget, full of history and beautiful architecture. It was my first time in Central Europe, and I really enjoyed how different it was. We were especially thankful for the mild weather while we were there, allowing for several photo shoots among buildings that matched our outfits. I basically lived in this coat during the five days and really learned how versatile it is. It's a Swedish brand called VILA and their designs remind me of Aritzia back in Canada, at around the same price point I find it difficult to really splurge on outfits here. Instead, really utilizing each piece in a way I don't usually do back home. Huge (and maybe obvious) travel tip: always wear running shoes while exploring cities, they're cute, totally in style, and will not make you miserable after a day of walking through uneven cobble stone roads.
