Spain, Budapest, and Prague in three weeks

I've been back in Canada for almost one week and already dreaming of my next trip. I love Canada and feel extremely happy and lucky to live here, but travelling is somewhat of an addiction. The excitement, and thrill of exploring a new place is almost like a surge of oxygen, travelling through your lungs after holding your breathe under water. It gives you life, a crazy whirlwind of a life. While I am slowly getting back into the groove of things, I have yet to unpack my two suitcases that lay open at the foot of my bed. Instead, I've been spending time with friends, visiting restaurants and places I've missed and simply enjoying my hometown with a new perspective. You see, when you take yourself out of your comfort zone for so long you view that comfortable place differently. Which is one of the most important takeaways I've received post Europe. Being home is really lovely.

Moving from country to country has given me experience and understanding that no school or job can teach. I am completely confident in saying that if ever life takes me to a new place in the future, I am ready. I am ready to be uncomfortable, because a lot of the time travelling is uncomfortable- but totally worth it. It's not easy ordering food from a menu not knowing what anything says, or walking through narrow dark streets looking for your airbnb with no wifi, but once you've done it there is a feeling of satisfaction- you should feel proud (and somewhat exhausted). With that being said, I developed a short bucket list of places I'd like to visit soon: Marrakech in Morocco, (any city) in Italy, Greece, Germany (other than the airport), Bali and Russia. So here's to following your dreams and taking huge leaps of faith, you never know where they'll take you.

I'd love to know, what country is on your bucket list? leave me a comment below. xx
